I have been looking at other members weight loss pictures. Is it jus me or does WLS patients tend to lose weight from the head down. I have lost 42lbs since 7/20 and all i hear is i can see it in your face and shoulder and chest. I know other people who had WLS and it was the same way i first noticed it in their face. Why is this?

Good question, Bruh.  I wish I knew what to tell ya.

Just last night I was at my monthly support group meeting and I swear almost every post-op WLS patient in atttendance was sporting a pair of 'Thankles' above their sandals.  Their Before/After pics show definite improvement but from the waist up.

Go figure.

Thankles...LMAO....NONE OF THAT OVER HERE!!

As my great-aunt told me the other night in my Beyonce dress and 5 inch heels (she hasnt seen me since my first weeks home from surgery) if she had my legs she'd be running around the streets in a thong and heels...ROFLMAO...I darn near passed out!!

LOL not true for me. I have been consistently loosing the same all over. I lose the same amount of inches from my bust, waist and hips each month. And I have noticed my waist getting really tiny. So I think it just depends on the person.

Yeah, we literally melt . If you work out the bottom half, things will eventually even out.

Interesting observation - I don't think I lost weight in this way - my legs and ankles have stayed shapely the whole time - but I worked out regularly from the moment my doc released me to do so.

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

This is sooooo true and I've observed the same thing with me!!  My thunder thighs won't go away.  Here's a picture that was taken on Saturday.
