I'm all about back in the day slow jams when I'm throwing them weights around in the gym(or when they're throwing me around). I like lifting to Jodeci, H town, R Kelly, Xscape, Keith Sweat. I do tend to kick it up a notch though. I also kick some Trina (you know...the baddest B#tch), Lil Boosie, Jay-Z, 504 boys, Master P and nem. I also like to kick some Blues like Sir Charles Jones, Johnnie Taylor, Tyrone Davis etc.
Now when I'm running, I'm on a different level. I pick songs that I can keep pace too. For example, I start running at about 150 beats per minute for about the first five-ten minutes and then go up to 160 beats per minute. I got songs that match those bpm's. I don't know the names. I just got them named A-Z with the bpm's in my IPOD. It's like fast paced dance music. It's a whole lot easier for me to run in cadence to something where each step lands on a beat. Guess that's from those years of running to cadence in the Marine Corps.
Speaking of Black Eye Peas, I used to hate em when I was a kid. Now I eat them occassionally (
haaa got jokes). But seriously, I like that new joint they got out. Something about "it's gonna be a good night" or something like that. As a matter of fact, gotta upload that to the MP trizay to dizay.
