Fat Girls are Diet and Nutrition Experts as far as I'm concerned
on 8/26/09 3:10 pm
Recent events have spurred people in this family to get themselves in better health, so we are sitting at the mortuary talking about taking care of ourselves. Becca sister starts talking about it and everyone is acting like she knows nothing cause she is fat.
I honestly believe bigger girls are nutrition experts because they have tried more deits and exercise programs than most skinny ones.
Just because someone is fat doesn't mean they don't know what to do to get thin they just don't do it.
Who Agrees, or for that matter disagree?
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown

That is the point I was making to them, just because someone doesn't do it does not mean theyh don't know how. Most fat people have tried so many diets they know what works and what doesn't work they just don't want to give up the twinkies and do it.
pre WLS - I had done diets - but I didn't do vitamins or other supplementation, so I can't say I can go ALL the way down that line with you - but I got cha to mid-plank, then I'm tying a rope around yo azz so if you fall off, I can pull you back up........ LOL!!!!
I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions! I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Not even just weight losee surgery people but fat people in general do know more just from trial and error but people will not admit to that cause they are to busy thinking well if you know so much then why are you fat. That **** is hard that is why because even though so many of us know how to make our body lose the weight we have hanging on we just don't want to do it.
I just can't get my mouth off the dam m&m's and now it's rainbow sherbert also.
Many of us are proof that conventional wl wisdom from the average pcp just does not hold true. There is so much more to obesity than calories in vs calories out. Wether we are winning at the struggle or loosing at it, we've learned more about our metabolisms than most people. Including our pcp's and especially nutritionists.
I've learned more from succesful and unsuccesful people here on OH than from four nutritionist plus the nurse practitioners at my surgeon's office. Lucky for me the surgeon is also rny, so as I've struggle with post op weight gain he is the only one *****ally has a clue.
