Hello everyone!!!! I'm just starting my WLS journey, with an approximate surgery date of March/April of 2010. I can't wait!!! My insurance provider is Kaiser and they have strict guidelines (more like a maze to me, but that's just my opinion) from start to finish minimum 6 months!

Anyhow, I've been on the OH site for awhile, but I just came upon this forum by accident, and I'm so glad I found my "peoples". It puts everything into perspective. Talk to you!!

Thank you Nieceb! I've been reading different posts on different forums to get a feel on what I'm getting myself into. What scared me was the posts asking help in getting weight off that they have regained! One woman had regained back 120 lbs! I'm trying to figure out how that happens? Does your stomach stretch to allow more food to accumulate, i.e. weight gain? I truly don't want that to happen. Please explain if you can? My sisters' girlfriend girfriend had the RNY and she's bigger than she was b/4 the surgery!

Welcome, I guess you can say that just because you have the surgery does not mean thats the end of the road. You have to continue to fight to stay in control of your eating habits daily. Good luck on your wls journey.
