Back on da boards

Hello fam! I met with my surgeon yesterday and he advised me of what I am going to have, as far as my revision. I am excited and can't wait! I go in on the 8/31/09, and the most exciting thing is no drain....very safe procedure, and hopefully I will be back to my old self. I have decided to stay away from food as long as I can and just do the protein drinks. We'll see how long that works.

I just do not have much support. I really do not have family and it is kinda depressing, but I am determined to have this surgery to put my life back together. Just wondering if there is anyone out there that have some words of encouragement, or would just like to be a good friend. I do not post as much as I should and that is because I get so down, but I am trying to change that....

Good luck on your revision.  I'm sorry to hear that you don't have family to reach out for support , but the BAF & main boards are a great support.

Hello Mary...I use to be on her often myself, but have to be in the field more on my job. When I'm home it's family time...this can be addictive...anywhooo, I pray all goes well and that you get the results you deserve! As for family....God is ALL you need...be encouraged!
