Proud to Be an AKA?

I posted a thread a few days ago about my support of this great organization and its leadership. I will always be proud to wear my colors. I took my thread down because I was reminded about the blog post policy. I advise you to do the same if you are in fact a TRUE soror and NOT a troll! I will not comment further.

ETA: At the time of this posting, the OP had the avatar of a jackass (mule) and it seemed to be a troll account...hence my curt response.  Just because a lizard can change colors does not mean it is not a lizard.  It can be whatever it wants to be....this is the internet.

i am not an AKA..but as a member of a black greek organization (ZETA PHI BETA) i hope you will tell your daughter the same thing i will tell mine. Choose your sisterhood based upon who goals and mission are best suited for her! yes it would be wonderful for my daughter to become a ZETA and her twin brother to become a SIGMA...however, i was surrounded by nothing but Deltas before i went off to college..and guess what...you know who helped me research Delta, lead me to their sorors to discuss their organization, their activities...a ZETA that i met in Poli Sci class (didnt know at the time she was a ZETA til she came to class with our colors on). that blew me away. the projects ZETA was focused on where closer to my heart than those of Delta.

yet..if she chooses AKA, you remind her that every organization has its problems...but you must look past all of that non sence at what AKA is doing for the communities we set out to serve and the principles that your oganization was founded on.

BTW...never be ashamed to wear your colors...
