You think Michelle took it too far by wearing the shorts?  Seriously?

Arizona in August is hot as hell!  I say wear your shorts Michelle...it's not like she was sporting Daisy Dukes!

The President and the First Lady are the closest thing that we have to royalty in America and I personally don't want to see our first black First Lady stepping lively off of Air Force One looking like she's getting dropped off at somebody's BBQ or Backyard Fish Fry no matter how hot it is.

I am a Michelle Obama fan...I love her graciousness, her pose, her realness; however, I have to say I agree with Aye on this one...not so much as she took it too far, but she should have dressed to compliment her husband, The President of the United States.

I understand they were on vacation, but being President and First Lady, nothing is private any longer....not even your marriage bed ~yes, that sucks~

Pres Obama had on khaki like slacks and a white polo---that is what most of us call "business casual'. Knowing that the perps (media)...already trying to find a curve in one of the two or both, hell, Michelle can't even wear hair extensions (though she doesn't need it...the girl hair is correct!)

I think it would have been more appropriate for her to dress in capris or a cotton jumper (not like blue jean)...like a khaki jumper...dressed to compliment her husband.

I ain't nowhere near a first lady...hell, I'm more like the first jailbird thugette or sumpin LOL, but when Phil and I go out together, though we don't dress to match each other or dress alike...we do try to compliment each other.

If he wears slacks and a dress shirt, as much as I hate to part with my jeans and birkies ~roll eyes~ I will wear a skirt or slacks and heels.

OT--I think Michelle is one of those women who looks GREAT in anything....long legs, slender body, and her hair pulled back looks stunning on her.

What other 1st Lady would look good in shorts???? 
At least she was appropriate not to short, shapley legs, basic cute top, no cleavage.

For where she was going...A Family Vacation in over 100 degree weather I think she was appropriate.

Folks should give her a break.  Why must everything be so serious?
Who among us would not want her body???
