help with protein
Pure protein is good, high protein with low carbs; I used this early out to stick to my caloric intake. If you want to drink a protein drink as a meal replacement EAS is good also.
ETA: Muscle milk is kind of high in calories so is EAS that's why I only drink it as a meal replacement after my 6 mos post-op.

I use protein balls to supplement (as is protein is from 10-12 gr), throughout the day. I also add almonds & whole flax seed to up the protein in addition. They also help to curb a sweet tooth as well.
