YES...YES!! It was worth every dime!  I had hit a plateau losing and gaining the same 5 lbs for months even though I was excising 6 to 7 days a week.  I got a personal trainer for 6 weeks of 1 hour session.  She was a women and I'm telling you when she walked in I took one look at her and said to myself "what can she do for me." She was very petite and looked a little on the skin side.   Well let me tell you WOW she proved me wrong!  She kicked my ass!! I started on a Thursday by Saturday I needed help getting off the couch and had to literally craw up the steps. I never felt that way after my hour and a half workout.   I stepped on the scale that following Monday and lost 5 lbs.
By getting the personal trainer, it has truly transformed my body.  I hated Tuesdays and Thursdays but I loved how it made me feel after I was done.  When my 6 session was over, I signed up for another 12 week session.  DO IT, its worth it.

I saw your post and was wondering how you were doing with the Couch to 5k?  Are you done with it?

I think the trainer is a good idea if you can afford it.  I do not belong to a gym; I walk the dog in the subdivision for 30 mins and ride my bike on a trainer in the garage for an hour every day 6 days a week.  I use the pod casts on my bike to help me shake it up some.  When she says to walk I pedal normally and when she says to run I pedal as fast as I can like a sprint.  It helps to give me variety.

But I am thinking about doing a bootcamp that includes yoga/pilates/cardio.  The bootcamp will last for six weeks and will have 90 mins sessions once a week.  I figure if I don't like it, it won't last forever and I can survive anything for six weeks.
