Oh you done did it now.!!!    You mean to tell me I don't really wear a size 10???  WTH???  Here I am thinking I can shop in this store!!!!  Oh well reality sure is a kick in the butt!!!!

I did buy a pair of Calvin Klein jeans from Macy's in a size 10 so maybe I can just wear sizes 8 - 12...  I guess the real deal is, at least I am not where I used to be...

I'll thank God for that and keep it moving...

I can't agree with you completly on that one Poker.  NY&co. sizes vary, I would say their articles with stretch are vanity sized but those blouses are true to size.

It's crazy, if you wear the largest size which is an 18 you can't possibly fit into their XL button down shirts without lycra until you can get into a 12-14.

What's an OLD NAVY???? Gurl....I have seen those stores...and walk smooth on by cause I am not about to let myself get upset, depressed or disappointed.  The fact that you can even walk in there and look around is a blessing in itself. I have noticed that there are major differences in brands though. I am just trying my best to get rid of that dayum W on my pants.  Congratulations on your achievement so far. You will get there.

yes happens to me all the time...thats why I always try stuff on before I leave the store and I never order clothes online cause I be needing to try my stuff on.....I hate doing returns, sometimes you take something back for an exchange only to find out your size is gone

Yes, I feel you with the returns...  I hate it (which is what  I have to do today because of those 12's)  The sad thing is, at the register, they can search other stores for your size, so I am generally running ALL over town trying to find a pair of jeans that I really want.

You are so right sbout ordering on line.  I just can't...  Never works for me....  Unless it's electronics!!!  LOL

The size, style, price, and designer will be the major culprit in size variations!

At my weight now....I can wear a size 10 from NY and company, but I need a 14 in Babyphat and 12 in Seven jeans.

It really depends on the make.....don't sweat it at all!

OMG...So glad I checked in tonite cuz I was feelin like a real fat ass! I JUST went to ON today cuz I was smellin myself and left feelin real dejected. I tried on a few pair that were tight on my thighs and super loose in the waist which is a problem I have NEVER had before, won't be bothering with them anymore for jeans.

Which jeans did you try on?  I tried on the "weekend jean" or the boyfriend fit because they are supposed to be comfortable..  I tried on the size 12 and had a major muffin top.  That wasn't going to cut it.  I tried on the 14 and the thighs fit but the waist was way too big and the butt part sagged!  UGH!!!  For a moment, I thought about buying the 12 as incentive jeans but quickly changed my mind.....  LOL
