Wow, I remember my 1sy year in college.....time goes by so fast. A few things that couldnt live without: A shower carrier (something to put body wash and stuff in that keeps everthing right there together), after every use shower spray, female products, snacks, a cordless phone, a extra backpack, a reading lamp, a fan that you can hook onto your bed. I cant remember anything else, but have no fear mom.....she will find ways to get to stores, and everywhere else you probably dont want to hear about. LOL! Just know that you raised a good girl, and she will make the right decisions. Dont be like my mom was either....calling me 100 times a day worring about me.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself Each day has enough trouble of its own.' Matthew 6:34

Yep I sure am. Im not a mom, but I have one and boy did she act a fool my first year. By my second year she was like "why do you need to come home this weekend?" I was like welllll it is your birthday, her answer was " ok, and thats no reason for you to come home." LOL, needless to say she was enjoying my absence. lol

See you and my mom are just a like........I hope Danielle and I arent. LOL, JK! I was pretty good in college for the most part, and I am sure she will be too.

Visa Gift Card or just plain ole' CASH!!!!  Most schools now have a card that they give to the students and the parents can load money onto from home.

I sent my girl off with the following:

waterproof  hypoallergenic mattress cover to put on before the topper;  plastic rolling file cabinet as a nightstand/ extra storage;  Microwavable plastic plates bowls cups utensils etc like in those picnic sets for heat & eat items when she didn't feel like going to the cafeteria way accros campus;  a clip on lamp so she could read/study i bed  when room mates are asleep.

Also sent lysol spray surface and air; spay cleaner or disinfectant wipes; paper towels; otc cold flu and alergy medicines and tissues;  mini coffe pot and hot pot for boiling water (had to take back as dorm did not allow them).  I sent her off with enough toiletries for the entire semester including pads and tampons.
