Well I am going to grocery store today. I am almost three months out and will be going shopping to get some food and cook I haven't really been eating since my surgery. Can anybody help me and tell me what to buy and what are some good food recipes that's yummy? I don't want to dump it's been so hard. Please help!!!!!

3 mos post o p can you eat what ever you like? If so I was eating

*Shrimp ( i buy the large frozen bags so I can take out a couple put seasoning on in a zip lock throw it in the microwave or pan of boiling water)
* Re fried beans (sprinkle with cheese..yum mo)
* Cheese, Cheese and more cheese
* Turkey Burgers
* FF lunch meats
* Lite and lovely yogurt
* SF FF Popsicles and fudge sickles
*Tuna
 *Can Chunck Chicken (add Greek yogurt celery onion and a dash of curry powder deli-sh...)

 Has your surgeon or nutritionist given you any restrictions or guidelines?

You're not going to be able to eat a lot so buy small sized packages. 

Also, don't buy a lot of any one thing - your pouch might not be able to tolerate it. 

Start slowly, adding only one new food at a time.

Chew, chew and chew some more to make sure it's good and smushed up before you swallow.

Keep things simple to start with.


Canned fish - salmon, kippers and mackarel
Eggs
Salsa
Cheese
Frozen meatballs
No-sugar-added pasta sauce
Frozen veggies
Frozen fruit
Nuts
Peanut Butter
Canned beans and peas
Chili
Cold cuts
Oatmeal
Whole grain bread
Your favorite spices
Broth, because some days your pouch will not want food.
Small Tupperware containers and ziplock bags to store leftovers
