Day TEN of this mission:  No Mercy and No Excuses

Weekend's over.  Time for some introspective on the past week.  Were you on point?  Tell the whole truth and be accountable for whatever it is you're working on.

How was your SUNDAY?  Problems, comments, critiques, advice to be given or needed?   Spot something in someone’s post that needs attention?  Are you aware of your strengths and of any opportunities for improvement?  Would you call this week sucessful or not?  Think beyond the scale.

Some of us are making exceptional progress so please share what's working with the rest of us.  Also pass on, what didn't, and what was a total cluster fkcu  How are you dealing with setbacks and frustrations?

We have participating, supporting, critiquing or just ready to remind us not to bring the bull**** here when we screw up:

Well let’s just say my last two days of having a total of ½ cup smothered potatoes with sausage has caught up to me.  The scales went up a pound.  So for the next three days I will attempt to keep my sodium intake under 1500 mg/day and my carbs to 20g or less and I need to drink a minimum of 48 ounces of spring water per day and it is possible for me to lose five pounds or more.  I have done this before and it worked so I hope it works again for me.

Today’s plan:

B-Coffee now…bacon later

L-Salad with steak

D-Salad
Water-48 ounces

Tracking sodium is a good idea.  I take potassium to help regulate water balance as well.

Yesterday was on point with vits, water, protein, exercise and calories.  It was what I call my freestyle day so exercise and therfore calorie deficit are lower than plan, but the averages are on point.

Since I ended the 5dpt I've lost 1.8 lbs and for the first time since wls my actual weight loss is comparable to the mathematical calculations.  I'm sure this is meaningless to anyone but a number cruncher like myself.

My daily averages, including my one 'all failing grades' day follow:
Calories, pass - 1149
Protein, pass - 109g
Fats, pass - 63.7g
Carbs, pass - 55.3g/ net 33.6g
Calories burned from exercise, pass - 1005
Calorie deficit, pass - 1288 (based on rmr of 1432)

I wanted to loose 12.1 lbs on this mission to meet my six month target weight that I should have hit last weekend.  I've only lost 2.6 lbs so far.  With 9.5 lbs to go, plus the 5 lbs I'm supposed to loose this month, my mission goal is now to loose 14.5 lbs.

Big pat on the back for you.  When my daughter was gone I used to loose my mind... in a bottle of Tawny Port Wine.

I find eating on schedule the hardest thing to do.
