Ambien and sleep EATING...Yes WALKING IN YOUR SLEEP EATING

I have not been taking Ambien but have lost a whole day.
I have had a change in sleeping pills didn't think that could have been the problem .  They have done all kinds of testing to not find anything wrong.  Going to fine
meds paper work and read and NEVER THOUGHT could be the problem.
Your girl friend eating well, I went to sleep in McD. Thought the couple was shooting the bull to find out they was not sister saided it was the truth(did remember).
Followed her to Walmart remember very little the next morning I'm asking the HB where did the red storage canister come from.  My sister laugh and told me I purchased them. Remember writing a check later that days but not right away. Remember a car speeding in the rear of me and me hitting the fence post. Then getting a flashlight and going to see what it looked like,and getting really mad. While I was outside the HB call 10:30pm from work and I told him about hitting the fence post and why.  Don't remember getting into bed and going to sleep. I felt like a big mack trunk had hit me because I had slept so hard.  Heard HB coming in from work at 5am and waking up thinking. I sure hope  hitting the post was a nightmare nope it wasn't. I didn't tell anyone a thing for a while because I didn't know how to explain it.
GIVE ME A HOPE THAT JUST MAYBE THAT I DIDN'T HAVE A SENIOR MOMENT.

Yes thanks for your posting, going to see the  Dr. next week.  Trying to find the paper that comes with the meds to read the possible side effects.  I was praying nothing was being over looked.  Because with all the testing they found nothing.
Since then I have gone back to not getting much sleep at all.

ahhhhh sweetie I really hope they do find what is causing you to not be able to sleep and give you something that works.

i posted before i think a couple of weeks ago that i am taking "adivan" this is perscribed for anxiety and insomnia and it works wonders for me.  i haven't had any side effects....uh oh none that im aware of!

Its a real scary feeling.  I have memory deficit issues and I have lost big blocks of time.  Mine is neurological.  Hopefully a change in sleep meds will be your hopefully simple cure. 

I'm embarrassed to say that I do this. I wake up and find peanut butter cracker wrappers in my bed, protein bar wrappers or yogurt containers. I haven't discussed this with my surgeon yet because I don't go back to see him until the end of the month. I just started using a cpap machine a few weeks ago so I can't eat or walk anywhere without disconnecting the machine, so maybe this is my saving grace. This has me very scared that I'll gain weight. So far, I haven't but I'm still in the fluctuating mode of 178-181. But my surgeon will be made aware of it.

hey there! yes, please discuss all your concerns with your surgeon....im sure whatever you say he or she has heard from another patient.....and you are too precious ...so try not to be embarrassed

Be super careful while taking Ambien!  (have someone you trust to supervise you or use a web-cam on oneself to observe you when you are on it?)

Apparently, people even OPERATE VEHICLES while 'sleep' on it, and do not recall a thing about the incident!!!

Too scary for me; I'm risk-averse, even though I have insomnia on occasion.  Benedryl is as far as I'll go.

I forgot to say that I don't take ambien . I do have to take something to calm my mind before I can sleep though but it's not really for sleep but more for anxiety.
