OT: continuing from yesterday - my "friend's" profile......

Um - so yea, 'she' worked on her greeting and profile page a bit and came up with the following - she's thinking maybe yall can help her with some edits and whatnot......

(SHADDUP RHONDA!!!!!!!!!!!)

A little about me...
Outspoken, intelligent, witty and open person - I say what's on my mind, and I always hold my ground. I work as hard as I play and I commit to every goal I set. I like to think I am a well rounded person, and a very caring one. I am a hopeless romanti****ep trying to evolve from that and just live in the 'real world' - but I still believe in romance, I just can't help it!

My friends say I have a big heart - I believe that's their code for 'stupid, sometimes gullible to a fault' - I tend to give the benefit of the doubt and believe the best in people....until they prove me wrong. That's not the most self preserving trait in the world, but hey, it's me - I don't know any other way to be.

I am looking for a R-E-L-A-T-I-O-N-S-H-I-P - say it slow, ten times and stamp your feet - so many on here think they can get into the 'fun' without the work - nope. This is 'skinless' territory - if you are out for the cookies, check the nearest mall for a Mrs. Fields.

I'm pretty sharp on my slow days - so mind games don't work - I may let you think you're winning, but that's a setup. I've only been a voluntary sucker in my life, I don't put anything past anybody, I expect nothing so I am never surprised nor disappointed.

What are you looking for in a partner?
Looking for someone with an even tempered personality who can deal with someone who changes constantly. Must be funny, open, and willing to go with the flow.

MUST be versatile - I have ADD of sorts, I can never stay on one thing too long, so must be flexible and have a wide range of tastes and experiences - can salsa, two step, cha-cha slide and walk it out! Knows quite a bit from Pachelbel's Canon to Marvin Gaye to the words to Tribe Called Quest and back to Robin Thicke.

As for personality - gotta BRING IT! I'm a force of my own - the life of the party with my friends (nickname T-Pain cause I'm the barrrrtennnderrrr) and I truly believe that nothing should be taken TOO seriously. I'm not an at home hermit, so I can't hang with one. I'm not a smoker or drug user and don't entertain it even recreationally - so I'm looking for someone with similar lack of 'habits'

I'd just like to add...
I like doing things out of the ordinary - finding and exploring different views, different things to do - you never know what life holds unless you push a couple of boundaries.... I'm a gym rat - LOVE the free weights, will ask a homie if he's done with the 80lb bar so I can do deadlifts in a heartbeat! I'm not model perfect tho - I'm going on 34, have one child so gentlemen - THERE IS SHAPEWEAR UNDER THAT GEAR.... lol - not that I am unfurling the constitution when I disrobe - but let's be real - you need a model - keep clicking past me.

I'm a movie lover - action is my first choice - I get a thrill out of waiting for someone to get shot, blown up or smacked down in at least the first 5 min of a flick - but I'll do the deep story lines too. Not into sports but will sit and happily watch a good game - just don't do it regularly.

Don't have pets - I do a good pillar of stone imitation around large animals and anything crawling with scales and a warning label related to their venom is a no-no- HEYL NAWWW!!!!

oh - last thing - I got 6 tattoos but I am NOT a former inmate, they are NOT dude's names and they are ALL concealed during 'regular' hours....

Dayum  Trina...you definitely laid it all out on the table.  There should be no excuses for someone to not know what to expect from you.  FYI, some of your statements maybe plagiarized.

...and I'll bet those are the same mawfuggahs who ain't bout ****; can't really do **** for ya, and ain't worth the dayum time some of these brain-dead sistas put in trying to holla at THEM and ****

A real brotha, in my opinion, will look at a sista and take in all of her feminine goodness and not trip on a blemish here or a roll there.  When you got a ninja spending most of his time with you or away from you picking apart how YOU can look better, feel better, smell better, or simply be better for HIM, then that bastid has had waaaaay to much time on his hand (probably from bouncing around back and forth from too many fugged up relationships in his day) to sincerely foster any real possibility of gettng to know the real you.

(drops the mic and runs over to holla at a sista with a set of knockers (grade Ayy) that're outta this world)

Dayum...I obviously don't no jack about the online dating scene because I sure didn't know they did all this!  Is it this specific and long?  What happened to the 25 words or less?  LOL

But I gotta give it to ya, you REALLY broke it down and laid down the rules!

Mack Mama!

I personally think this is a great profile!  The only paragraph "I" might leave out is :

I'm pretty sharp on my slow days - so mind games don't work - I may let you think you're winning, but that's a setup. I've only been a voluntary sucker in my life, I don't put anything past anybody, I expect nothing so I am never surprised nor disappointed.

It comes off as a little gamie (I just made that a word...hehe) ...plus...guys might think there is some baggage that they will have to contend with after reading it.  You don't want to make potential suitors Plus they don't need to know your strategy anyway.

Other than that....I say GO FOR IT!

Good point - I'll take that out and replace it with something else. Umm - I mean - I'll tell my "FRIEND" to take that out.......
