M.S.W., You truly are the queen of detail.
........I don't have an academic suggestion or solution, but I've been watching a couple of ladies here at work, who 1 year ago, started Weigh****chers. They kept it simple in eating within the "point range" for their weight, and every single day they walked around the building for about 15 minutes each time.....then they told me they either walked in the evenings or rode a bike (not stationary). Right before my own eyes in one year......one lady lost 50 lbs., the other one lost 90. everytime i see them they are walking at a brisk pace, they never catch the elevator either. Made a believer out of me. And a couple times i noticed them in them in the cafe getting lunch...which consisted of lots of veggies and a little bit of meat....no soda or dessert.
Anyway.......I think if you continue to stay focused over time the 1 lb. here and 1 lb. there will translate into a decent amount of loss. -1 lb per week of weight loss = approx. - 48 lbs loss. in 1 year. (this is the extent of my analysis
)
Whew, the things we go through.........................and that's after having our insides adjusted with RNY. It's just a struggle, plain and simple.
hang in there!!!

It takes detail to get at the root cause of the problem. I'd become a ***** for a consistant pound a week with no body fat gained in between, lol.
I've done the weigh****hchers thing too. They should be paying me back as much as I've given them. I lost around 50 without ww but it took me five years.
Thanks for the encouragement.
After reading all of your posts, I think you are doing an EXCELLENT job! Your five days shows how focused you can get and the weight will come off! I know my body LOVES to hold on so I think you should keep doing what you are doing and it will come off. I also agree on the comments about your muscle increase! Yaaay to that! Your posts have helped me a great deal!
