Never had much experience except ONE close call with Yahoo when it used to be free back in the day. I had a gal's profile wide open on my work PC and in comes wifey through the office door. Thank the LORD my monitor was not facing the door

But I think that if the need ever presented itself to where I needed to get back in the game, it WOULD be online. I never liked the club scene very much back in the day anyway. I know money is an issue with using the good sites, but you still gotta pay at the clubs anyway. You gotta get gas, pay the cover charge, buy your own drinks. Then if you think you might get lucky, buy ole girl's drinks (and sometimes her friends' drinks). Shoot, it aint nothing to spend $70-$80 in a weekend.
At least online, I let the service do the work and I sit back and choose who I want to meet

Hey MM...yes, I've tried the online dating scene...and honestly - I've met some nice guys, a few who are still very good friends of mine.
It's all in the WHO...not which dating site...all of them come with their 'crazies'...it's a choice and as Juanita said...BACKGROUND CHECK!
I had a lady email me on Facebook about a month ago, telling me about a so-called minister she met on FB who turned out to be a wife beater...felon and a few other things...did a background on him...messed her up (head-wise) for a minute, but she did learn her lesson.
My feeling, though, is that it doesn't matter whehter you meet a guy/woman online or in person....most times, they send their 'representative' to chat, first.
I would not put online dating down...but just be careful!
