Possible Revision
Outside of the looks though I am concerned about the risks associated with the surgery. For those of you RNY'rs. what was the biggest adjustment for you? What was your biggest risk concern? How did you overcome it?
Now spare me the people who haven't been online in a while asking quesitons lecture. If you feel inclined not to answer because I have not had weight loss questions in a while, feel free to ignore this post. Also, I can do without the "do your research line, because talking to real people who did it is one of my research steps.
All others please share as I am curious.

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown

RNY doesn't automatically mean your azz will lose more weight than you care to - your body WILL regulate itself if you follow the rules - I once thought I wanted to get to 160 - I am at 195 right now, looking to get back to 186 - but I stayed 186 for about a year with no problems.
Biggest adjustment - relearning how to eat - not just volume, but things I can and cannot eat. I used to be a big carb and sweet person, but now I will

the other big one - protein supplementation - i played around and thought after 3 years, I was 'good' and stopped doing it everyday - my body said to me 'biotch, da heyl you think FOR LIFE means?' - so I learned the hard way that the protein and vitamins are a LIFELONG commitment - as is exercise and water intake.......
Curious - if you've lost a signifcant amt of weight, why do you need a revision?

Trina, I think she means since she has already had one form of WL surgery and lost weight, the revision may have that affect.
That actually is a valid concern Brenda...I think so anyway. I would discuss this with your surgeon because doctors seem to have their own rules regarding the size they make your pouch. He will probably adjust the size, according to how much more you want to loose.
My best to you lady.
BTW, I'm LMAO at your dayum disclaimers...you sure do know your BAF peeps don't you!

As far as the ther question goes since I lost a significant amt why do I need a revision, its cause I was a big ole heffa and am still not small. I don't even know if the revision will be covered by insurance since BMI is 33 now, but my surgeon suggested a revision.
