Hey sweetie,  I'm not superstitious AT ALL, in anyway and I grew up with a bunch of crazy a$$ cajun/creoles who do that voodoo/christian thing all the time!!!  We'd have a family reunion and atleast 10 people had bags of monkey feet!  WTH is that about??!!!

Love is all there is, ever was or ever will be...

For me its less a case of superstition and more of a minor case of OCD.

I do enjoy my tarrot cards but thats not a Black thing; and no I have yet to predict the future, or work any magic with them.  They are just laminated paper.

Good luck with that stuff.

The last time I tried to look at a bunch of cards and predict the future they ran my azz outta that game of Spades once my opponent caught on and they barred me from the table.

I'm not superstitious but my daddy and his family was extremely superstitious so I was around those beliefs. My hubby was born in Mississippi and raised in Louisiana and is also extremely superstitious. I believe that superstition and God don't belong together so I choose God. Of course, I'm a born and bred Southerner.

Ayy...are you making a correlation between "superstition", "voodoo", and "believing the Bible"...???  (That seems to be a presupposition in your questions...)

I am not superstitious at all. The only bad luck you can have is to miss heaven and bust hells doors wide open   ... Now that is some bad luck... I am from the south and that is what my mother always told me... So I did not worry about my feet getting swept by a broom... this would prevent you from getting married, washing clothes on sunday... this would wash away your blessings...going out the same door you came in... I never understood that one...
