How do you tell which friends are true and which ones are haters?  Listen and watch.  Those who truly love will be that way regardless.  Their speech reflects it. Their actions show it. They speak kindness about others.  They avoid gossip.  They believe in you sometimes MORE than you believe in yourself.  They cheer you on and if you fall, they will pick you up and cheer you on again.  They tell you the truth in a loving way. They are up-lifters AND they are consistent about it.  They choose to love not hate.  Here's the thing.... haters do the same.  They show themselves eventually EVERY-TIME...without fail.  Jus****ch and listen.

It's easy to see when you're watching for it.  For example, there will always be drama around the person who is a hater.  Jus****ch and listen to them for a minute and you'll see it.  They will constantly complain that people are always treating them badly, taking them for granted and talking crap about them.  No one appreciates what they do.  They know better or more than someone else.  They can always do something better than someone else.  They steal the limelight. They are constantly having an issue with someone, whether it's at work, home, in church, with friends, online...always having some sort of beef with someone.  Why? Because they bring the drama.
People who are truly kind, kindness follows them.  No false humility.  No false intentions.  They speak, walk and talk love and they do so consistently.

We are like the people we hang around so, be careful and mindful who you chose to associate with.  If you think your friend is negative, gossiping, hating, then get away from them....fast!  Then check yourself.  I can't control what others do or say, but I can control myself.

Love is all there is, ever was or ever will be...

There is such a test.  All you have to do is wait for a personal tragedy (death in the family, loss of job or illness)  to happen, that is when you can separate the real deals from the wannabes.

Without struggle, there is no progress.
