OT: What was the last fight you were in?

Last fight was on the basketball court in college. This chick is 5'8 and thinks that she is going to shoot the ball over me, nope, so it's REJECTED. She didn't get the hint and shoots it 2 more times and I block it 2 more times and this was a scrimmage. Oh girl gets mad and pushes me, so I body slam her butt. My team starts pulling me off and I look up and her whole bench is coming for me and I'm going for them and my coach grabs me.   The Lord has truly worked on my temper.

I also had a problem with road rage until I had an incident in my car with the kids in there with me and my hubby explained how I was putting the kids at risk and people carry guns now. I was parking at a music store to get something for my daughter and this woman didn't like the way I parked and got out and looked at me and said something. I hopped out and little lady saw great big me and I yelled "You got problem, you want a piece of me?" Little lady said very meekly no and quickly left.  I no longer do the road rage thing because I overheard my kids repeating what I said a few times to people about what their mom said to a lady at the music store.

You know, I never had a physical fight.  As a teenager I was big, I was tall, I kept to myself  [ I was a bookworm and could be found in the library mostly ] and had popular -athletic not afraid to fight brother - we are 16 months apart.   All the teachers knew me, all the kids knew him.  I was pretty much left alone.

Funny that you should bring this up because on the real, Katz out here in Jersey had just begun to master the art of the Brooklyn Bum Rush style of fighting - that's when about 15 to 90 ninjas would just roll up on a dude and beat him to a still finish simply because the "offending" victim did something stupid like looked at a girl that another dude in the group was secretly crushing on but didn't have the ballz to step to her all romantic and proper like.  Once that dayum movie, Boyz in the Hood came out, every ninja from here to Boston, MA back down to Miami, FL and all parts in-between was bringing out their grandfather's rusty-dusty sidearm, sawing off their grandmama's piece o' junk double-barrel shotty, and was walking around with anything that had a trigger on it that they could steal from the local pawn shop.  Being able to fight with your hands soon went the way of the dinosaur.

Sad but true....

The last physical fight consisted of a man talking about me as I was asking questions about a cell phone plan that he offered in his bootleg store. About 12 yrs ago if not more.

I was trying to be an educated consumer and apparently he got full of himself...He was italian and began calling me out my name...I know I heard him say fat B.......

I picked up a little marketing sign off his counter and klonked him right in the head with it.....blood starting gushing out his forehead and I stood there panicked that he was gonna physically retalitate.....I was shocked myself. It was like something came over me.

Tthe police were called and he threatened to press charges......I was crying hysterically telling th the officer that the man made me do it by insulting me.   The cop had pity on me and let me go........thankfully.
My mother warned  after that to get anger management classes....I aint been yet.

In life,  and especially on this journey there are sure to be days when you falter and give in.......just remember to never give up.
