Hold my feet to the fire please! Accountability Mision
I've broken stalls before adding calories and high fiber carbs with my post work out meal. It won't work this time because lately my appetite is only feeling the bad stuff like an entire tub of coolwhip free as a meal replacement food. (Shameful but true.)
My twelve day plan to break this stall and get my appetite back where it needs to be:
5 Day Pouch Test - Some like it, some hate it, others say its a bad fad diet. Since I'd rather eat coolwhip than food its a good time for liquids for two days.

Also see responses for details.
Day 6 to Day 12 - I'm riding a one week protein train. (Thanks Kim!)

I'm going to get 100g protein daily and a minimum of 80 oz liquids including 40 oz of water. And of course all of my supplements.
I'm sticking with my current exercise schedule. Cardio/ strength six days and a lighter workout of my choice once a week.
Twelve days is an odd period but I am counting down to my six month post op follow up. Start date, Saturday August 8. End date, Wednesday, August 19.
Join me. Support me. Hold my feet to the fire!!!
Thanks family.

I can't do no carbs because it will cause me to crash and turn into a carb monster!
I have been trying to get my head right to follow the 5dpt. I did that before and had good results. It got my pouch feeling brand new. I think I will start that Monday...those first 2 days are a killer for me....gotta be at work during that time because at home it's too hard. LOL

I say run, those diets eat up so much muscle and when you stop them you just eat like a crazy person. I use to do them but I like my muscle so I vow to not do them anymore unless I absolutely have to.
When I started those running programs I had been stuck for 2 years and it was the only thing that actually made my body lose weight while maintaining my muscle. I actually went down 2 pant sizes, that is like a miracle for my body.
Also, my nutrition plan is extremely carb restrictive. With the protein train, I'm only giving up about 3 2-3oz servings of produce a day. I'm not permitted carbs from other sources until after my six month follow up.
I hear you on the running but it is my personal most hated form of exercise and I really like to work out. I've tried it since my teens, at the track or on the tredmill and still its not for me. (But how does it looks so enjoyable?)
I do 60-90 min of cardio, seven days a week plus strength. I should be ok preserving muscle with the added protein. My range per my dr is min 71-89g. For this period I'll be taking in at leat 100g.
I agree with you. I want to buld muscle and loose fat, not just weigh less.
