First I want to say congratulations then I want to say please go to the revision board and seach for posts on it so you can kind of get an idea of how people are doing with it. If your insurance is going to pay for it I would say that's a good thing, but if they don't and you have to self pay I would think twice about it. Good luck to you and I hope it works out for you.
I took your suggestion and went to the revision board, first let me be very clear this is not a surgical procedure and my surgeon is totally against stomanyx or whatever it is. I totally trust him when he told me that this is what will help me but the rest is up to me. He also stated that he will not cut on me again and my life can resume as normal the next day. Listen all he is going to do is use a scope look inside to check my pouch and make injections not incisions into the stoma which will tighten back up the stoma and I will have to start the eating process over like when I first had RNY. Now if the surgery was a success for you I am happy for you and it has been a success for me too. I'm at a plateau I went to see a certified doctor with experience and not opinons to see what I need to do to get my weight to moving and due to some of my physical limitations I can't work out like everyone else and I am NOT a swimmer I am in water aerobics classes however I just need to follow what the Dr order. This is a 15 minute procedure no cutting involved. I will be lightly sedated it's like having an endoscopy done that's how they do it.
First of all I want to say that I didn't write that to offend you. I do know the difference between stomaphyx and the procedure you are having. I do know that sometimes it takes more than one injection to get the desired tightness. I was simply trying to get you to read up on others experience before you had the procedure. As I said before good luck to you and I really do hope you have the success you are looking for.
ETA: I just want you to know that I struggle daily with my weightloss and I'm not saying one surgery is better than another because everyone's bodies are different. Please don't think that I'm trying to push one surgery over another.

Thank You. I did research and I couldn't find anyone who had it done. If I sound upset I wasn't I was just expressing myself and not trying to be offensive. I do appreciate you suggesting that i see how it worked for others. But I have not been able to find anyone who has had this done do you know of anyone?
Sounds great, congratulations. What is in these injections? What is this procedure called.
