I am so excited that I get a second chance to get it right. I went to see the surgeon on yesterday and he confirmed that the pouch is stretched a little bit but there is a procedure that is called EDG with Schelerotheraphy no cutting 15 minutes tops you go home and this puts the pouch where it is supposed to be I am exercising again and doing my vitamins and water. There's is nothing more scarier than the fear of gaining the weight back. I will do what I have to do and I am so grateful for OH and the support that I get here. The good news is that when they weighed me I had only gained\ed 1 lbs. in four months so I am on my way again pray and support me please.SOOOOOOOOO Grateful Niece B.

First congratulation on the second chance.

Ok Niece, I got a million questions. Did you insurance pay for it? Is it an in patient office visit type thing? Is it a new procedure? I have a friend who may be interested in it. How exactly are they shrinking the stomach? Is there a recovery time or are right back at the next day?

Yes my insurance according to them is going to cover it. It is an outpatient procedure that only takes about 15 minutes. They use a scope to go down your throat to see if the pouch is stretched and if it is they give you a couple of injections while inside of a medication that is design to shrink the stomach. They said that it is the process that it was in the beginning it takes a day to a week for recovery.

Wow,  that sounds great,  not having to have another surgery but getting your pouch re-virginized.  LOL.   I want that.

I am on  my surgeons e-mail list and it was time for my four month check so they sent me info on this precedure and I had to qualify for it. I had no knowlege of I admit that I probably should have lost just as much as anyone else however not to make any excuse I do the best I can my life is very busy and before I made a decision I had to consider a lot of the things that are priority on my life so this doesn't put my life on hold I just want to keep it moving. I have gained 1lb. in six months stopped eating meat all but fish and ground turkey , vegs. and protein shakes. I walk the mall six time four times a week and nothing lossed tell me what would you do. I have never heard of it either and I was allowed to ask all the questions I needed to and I did. Just pray for me to be successful.
