RNYers (Important tip)....

I'm not sure about DSers or Banders.....but for RNYers....not all....please, PLEASE, keep peanut butter or peanut butter crackers on you at all times!

I had one of the worst "shaking" episodes ever yesterday....this happens when I skip a meal or two....or just sometimes it happens....what really happens is my blood sugar drops! My head (OH MY)....I am shaking.....sweating....feeling dizzy.....feeling faint.....

My cure is peanut butter crackers and a sip or two of orange juice (still can't drink OJ without dumping...so I only take like 1 or 2 baby sips).....peppermint helps a little, but peanut butter crackers are a life saver!

That schitt is still scary and I totally hate when it happens!

Okay....that's all

Wow thanks for sharing this MsDeeDee. My best friend has had such attacks and she says the only thing that helped her was eating some peanuts in fact she was visiting, we were in the mall and she had one of these episodes happen. IT was scary. I got her something to drink and some peanuts. I mean sweat was pouring and she looked like she would pass out.  I will share this with her as well.  Thank you.

That sudden hunger can really catch you off guard.  I felt it comming on once but I caught it quickly.  I'll never let that happen again.

I always keep a snack in the car and in my purse.  Peanut butter crackers trigger my inner carb monster.  However, some pork skins or an atkins daybreak bar do the trick for me.
