5 Day Pouch Test - Its gettn serious! Day#2

Hello BAF. Just wanted to check in and tell you that I started the 5 Day Pouch Test on yesterday.   For Day 1 I was only able to have liquids...let me tell you, I think I went to the bathroom about 15 times yall! Lol.  I was wondering if I would feel hungry, but I didn't at all.  It was just like when I first had surgery.  I wanted to try and see if it would help me get more protein in by doing the Pouch Test.  My plan is as follows:

Weigh in the morning, take all vitamins during the day, exercise for 1 hour, take in at least 80g protein and 64 oz of water/liquid.  I did very well for my first day - My day is as follows:
-Protein shake for breakfast, 10 oz Crystal Lite, 16 oz bottle of Snapple, 1 UNJURY chocolate shake, 3 bottled waters (16.9 oz), half cup of creamy chowder soup, 1 UNJURY chicken soup protein pack, 16 oz protein smoothie., 1/3 cup sugar free apple sauce.

I had an estimated 1000 calories today and took in a whopping 106g of protein!! DAMN CUZ!!! Lol.  Besides that, when I weighed in at 10pm tonight I had dropped 2 lbs!! Then when I re-weighed this morning, I was down another 1.4 lbs (I stepped on and off the scale 4 times to see if it was accurate, same number came up each time).  Check out my blog for the rest of the week and see how it goes.  Today I plan on taking in the same amount of protein that I did on yesterday (its also liquids, broths, soups, and protein shakes all day).  Ill keep yall posted!

You can do it!  I did it 2 weeks ago and I have a band!  I lost 11 pounds.  Only 3 of them came back after the 5dpt.  It got me off of the caffiene, though.  I didn't feel hungry either.  When I went to soft foods, I discovered sugarfree Land o Lakes whipping cream in a can - wunderbar!!

Its actually not bad AT ALL!  Oooh, I'll have to check on that SF Whipping Cream!  For sweets I had been eating like low fat cool whip w/ 2 strawberries or SF applesauce.  I have already lost 3.2 lbs since yesterday morning!!! I think its the protein boost.  I got the amount of protein in 1 day that I normally get in 2!! I realized that I have never been a big eater, like I would rather drink than eat, so I may make my daily routine a combo of regular food and protein shakes.  Like on Sunday for example, I couldn't eat ANYTHING, it all smelled horrible and I just had no desire to eat, so I just didnt because I knew if I did I would feel horrible.  And its like this almost every day so I think thats why I haven't been getting my protein.  But now?? I found some UNJURY that I like and also the most AMAZING 35g Chocolate/Peanut Butter protein shake from the smoothie place up the street...im about to be an addict!!  I wasn't on caffeine  before, always did decaf.  Any food suggestions for the next 3 days?

I ate tuna every day.  LOL.  I buy the 2.6 oz pouch, add fat free ranch dressing, a packet of the True Lemon flavor and sea salt.  I would have that with a boiled egg for lunch and I was full!  I plan to do this at least once a month now.  I use the Walmart protein powder in Chocolate, add 1/2 banana, 2 TBL of peanut bitter and 8 oz skim milk and that keeps me really full until the afternoon.
ETA - I start on Monday and that way I'm done by the weekend!

Hey! Good question..not too sure. Check out www.5daypouchtest.com.  I would assume its okay if it were completely ground up though, plus the idea is to get the protein in, so that should work.  When are you gonna start the pouch test?
