Question about Adipex-P(Phentermine)

So of course I just had the baby and I am on a mad dash to loose the weight and then sum.  I actually only gained 28lbs.  So the baby is now 2 1/2 weeks old and I have already lost 23lbs on my own.  I signed up for the phentermine to push me the additional 30lbs I want to loose.  I have taken adipex-P before.  I actually took it a few years before I had the surgery. So I popped the first pill yesterday.  True to it's rep. was not hungry the entire day.  Had to remind myself to eat.  But I am having this strange side effect that I have never had before.  You know how when you sleep bad the night before and you have this crook in your neck.  Well this is what I am feeling.  When the pill wore off the crook subsided.  When I took a half pill today, crook came back. Strange.  Now I was thinkn, I'm really stressed out right now, big time stressed and perhaps its all tied in.  The adipex-P also release stuff...lol For example, you urinate often, you may have several bowel movements in a day, your nose runs sometimes.  It's bascially loosening things up, releasing toxins is my take.  Perhaps I did not use the correct verbage but yall get my point.  Has anyone else had this symptom?  Any suggestions besides call my Doctor?  My friend asked was I off the pain killers from the C-Section.  I told her I had pain killers Friday morning and popped Adipex Sat. morning.  I wonder would this have anything to do with it..hmmm

Serious you know you need to call the doctor and find out whats going on with that.  I don't remember getting neck crap feelings when I took Phen but that was many moons ago. 

Lee, when I saw it was you responding I started grinn'n ear to ear.  How r u?  I have indeed missed chattn with u.  Yes, dun gone off and made a baby chile....Funnest thing in the world;  I sumhow thought I'd whip through this...yeah right.  Egypt!  You and wifey show get around.  Weren't you  there a few years ago?  Well more power to you.  SOund lovely.  I would luv to travel one day...far from this day but one day. 

Bout the side effect.  I popped me half a 800 Motrin and pain went away.  Ima step back off the pills for a few days and try to let my body flushed of everything and then try again.  Otherwise I will go to my Dr.

Just wanted to pop in and tell you Pretty Lady!  Looking forward to seeing pics of the baby and new pics of big brother! 

Oh, don't know about those side effects, but please be careful.  I'm actually trying to get some of those myself.  LOL

Hi there Kim B. You look great!  You made a few changes since I last saw you on here.  Go for you!    I'm actually tryn to get to Baby's R Us this week to get some pictures of the boys.  Sounds crazy to say, 'the boys' geez.

I was determined to get some pills.  My surgery was not as successful as it should have been.  So I said, this time around since I'm in the weight lose mode I'ma make the best of it.  Funny I asked my 1st Dr. for the pills and she woul dnot give them to me.  Only because of all they Hype with M.J. they really watch prescriptions.  So I politely went to my regualr Dr. not baby Dr. and asked and she had no problem prescribing them.  Said she understand considing what I went through just having the sugery itself.  That loosing weight must be top priority considering.

Ima ease off the Adipex for a few days then start back up.  See if that fixes the problem. If not Ima have to def see a Dr.

I took them for a few months right before I decided to have surgery last year. My friend was all jumpy from them but I didn't feel shyt! lol The weight loss doc here combined the pills w/ B-12 shots. But for $70 every 3 weeks I was tired of going.

When I was first on them I was also getting B-12 shots.  Matter fact I need to go to the clinic and get one.  Much cheaper there than back at m Dr.s office.  Insurance for whatever reason din'e cover that.  Didn't make me jumpy either jusy busy as hell.  I cleaned most of my house this weekend.  I did cleaning I had been wanting to get to but never really could...lol

They worked but i start feeling light headed scared i was going to pass the heck out. Maybe I will give them a jump start for a quick five pounds.
