Wanette.
My curls do their thang but wanted to try something different so that I'm not tempted to put a relaxer in it since its been 2 years and I'm growing tired of the hairstyle.

oooh, retracting, i just got to the budget part lol!

unless prices are better in lanna or you have a friend who can do your top i'm thinkin it might be better (more cost effective) to stick with braids.   my weaveologist LOL is $150 only because i've known him for years but between the labor and the hair itself (good quality hair) staying under $200 might be kinda tight.    good luck gurl!

p.s. QT just posted something it was a thread about something else but we started talking bout hair cuz of her avie, if you're willing to try synthetic hair, you can go low maintenance and low cost and depeneding on where, you actually might be able to get that for less than 150.

Weave and Wiggy here ~raising hand~

You are in the right place for weaves/wigs....ATL or any down souf joint LOL

I am from Alabama....and I have not found ANYONE to hook me up for real, for real....

I keep my natural hair short---relaxed but short.....so my weaves are quick weaves....I don't care much for them....I prefer a sew in.....

Let me give you some options.....

if you don't want to be bothered....and you don't want to relax your hair....my advice is TREE braids with some type of curly or kinky hair....this runs anywhere from 50-150 dollars....last 6 to 8 weeks.....to up to 2 hours....very pretty....it is my favorite.

my second choice would be a lace wig....very natural...very pretty....remi hair....awesome....oh, some are synthetic hair now too....the price varies due to hair and style....I know the bomb lace wig person in ATL....if you are interested.

A sew in....you will only leave out a small amount of hair to make it look natural....it does not have to be relaxed....it can be pressed and maintained with a flat iron.....hair ranges from 9.99 to mula mula....I pay about 34.99 depending on style and and hair....the price ranges depending if the stylist charges by full head or track....it is best to find a full-head stylist....track prices ranges from 12-25 a track....I gotta big head!!! Full heads can from 60 to 300 or more....it will last up to 8-12 weeks depending on the stylist, you, and your hair

Infusion is strand by strand....awesome and ranges from 500 to thousands.....

Malyasian weave is not sewn but attaches to your regular hair....it is pricey too....

there are so damn many now LOL

The best thing to do is find about 5 stylist....go for  FREE consultation.....and then decide....

another option....a sew in....with a lace frontal piece if you don't want to leave out any of your hair....

Maybe Cookie can tell you a good weave stylist in ATL
