I'm 2 years out and have never had any trouble.  I chose not to listen to negative people that's why I don't talk about my surgery. Unless it someone that's really talking about having surgery and that is very over weight.
     JUST KEEP ON KEEPING ON.
I'm still not where I need to be, but I'm not where I use to be.
It want be long.  I look at these women that have 7 years and
praying that I have the staying power like they have.  Looking into plastic soon. Wanted plastic way before surgery it just gave me more reason to get it.
p.s. pray on it and don't let anyone spook you.
God Bless you on your journery

I think wls affect many people differently...SOME people have severe complications from ALL surgeries, SOME people never lose enough weight in ALL wls...so again everybody is different, I think if you go into knowing what is REQUIRED for you to be successful and complication free you should have no worries, again illnesses happen beyond someones control after wls..

Regardless which weight loss surgery you CHOOSE I see you are having RNY, you need to know they are ALL TOOLS and not a magic wand, RNY does have a "window of opportunity" and there are vitamin regime that you MUST take FOREVER to stay healthy and complication free, I also take vitamins every day even though I had the lap band. If you go in with a positive attitude and don't fight against your surgery by eating junk all the time, we all have our slip ups... and no exercise; I think you will not have any regrets.

Good luck on your upcoming surgery
