Should he be fired for being racist or for being stupid?

That's not all of the information because I didn't have time to dig it all up, there are lots of websites with bit and peices here and there. There is a book about a guy who went undercover and joined the klan. I forget the title. I believe he was a news reporter and was doing a research story.

I believe that it has to do with the hatred of ones own race. My mother had a white friend years ago who was really into the 70's radical movement, she was all for becoming a black panther. 

Also my Brother's Mother in law took in a teen a few years back who was from Africa. She was adopted by an African family here and they enslaved her. She was a slave complete with beatings etc. from the time that she was 4 until she was 18. She had no concept of the real world so to speak. The parents were wealthy but it was somehow discovered and they denied enslaving her. They are currently in prison. They tried to pull the "this is our custom" card after they realized that they were going down. The young lady is now about 24 yrs old and still resides with my Brother's MIL. She is very bright and was able to do schooling later. She had something like a 6th grade education.

She finished school and is currently a college student. One of our local news anchor's is her mentor. She is doing very well, but the experience did leave some psychological damage that is being dealt with on a constant basis.

That is very interesting. NOW Imma be REAL skeptical when a Black person tries to call ME racist when I question the motives of a white person, instead of questioning the white person's motives. You know, there is wayyy more to Black self hate than we probably ever thought. Now you will have Me researching too...this stuff could be handed down from generation to generation in families, just like bad eating habits...they may not know why they are always defending white folks or get upset when white folks are challenged or not fully understand why they hate it when other Blacks stand up to white racism...Clearly, much of our opinions on these type of matters relate back to our childhood/up bringing and what we heard in our homes. If "self -Ethnic" hate is exhibited in certain ways, the kids are going to pick it up, just as if self-ethnic Love is exhibited in the home, it too will come out.

yes I agree.. This is why I keep throwing the words "Willie Lynch theory" and Psychological warfare. That's all a lot of this mess is and many white and black have bought right into it. Like you say, generational stuff in families. While growing up I remember having a neighbor who was raising two of her great-great nieces. After the state took custody of the two, she stepped up to raise them. The oldest girl was 4 and darker complected. The youngest girl was 8 months and very light complected. let's just say that we kids witnessed some stuff that we shouldn't have.

I also remember my late 6th grade teacher who was from Montgomery Alabama and proud of it. He was black. During those times, bussing was new and most of the white people moved to keep their children from being bussed to our neighborhood. The poorest white people couldn't move. Our class was all black with the exception of this boy that I will call Charles. The teacher who I will call Mr. Jones beat his ass on a daily basis. Other students got paddled too, but I can clearly remember Charles getting punished more so than any other child in our classroom. I wonder what Charles has taught his children?
 

I remember Dave Chappelle doing a sketch about a blind "white supremacist" who was not aware that he was actually a black man.  It was funny as heck, but it had a deep symbolic meaning to me.  Some of our people can't see who they are, so they allow others to shape their perceptions about their identity.

According to the over-seer in question:

Barrett used the "jungle monkey" phrase four times, three times referring to Gates and once referring to Abraham's writing as "jungle monkey gibberish."

 He should be fired for that part alone.  You can't be in a position of power and influence such as an officer of the law and sounding like you are the leader of the local KKK.

...i think he should be fired for both...(the "racist" thing is obvious to me...and i think he's too stupid to be a cop.)
