If he wasn't Black

I was watching the news and they are criticizing Obama for inviting the police officers and Gate over for a Beer.... Stating that it is not ethical nor professional .Do you think this is an issue because he is black ? I would love to know what BAF family feels about this...

He is under the radar for a lot (cause he is black, cause he is the president, cause he smokes cigarettes)... the list is endless.  We just have to stay strong and stand behind him.  I am still impressed with the BBQ they had at the white houseHe knows how to be humble when need.  Hope I answered your question IMHO

I am one of the few individuals who do not label everything as being racist.
 
Black people is the ONLY race of people who do not stick together and will stab or call each other a ***** in a hot  minute and not see anything wrong with; BUT the minute someone outside of our race say or do something to "offend" us we want to speak up and march.

Dedee just made a post yesterday about another young black man getting kill most likely by another person of the same race;  but yet WE as people remain silent about the high percentage of black on black crime which is sad when we make up what 13% of the total population in the US.

If we were more like the Latinos, Asian and even some white people  we would be strong race of people like we use to be doing the Civil Rights Movement.

I just asked a question that was on my mind at the time ...I am not offended by it nor did I intend to offend anyone else. The mistake (NEW) was a typo! The reason I wrote this is because I thought this was a blog to express yourself. You cant please everyone ! I dont come on here to beef or hate on anyones questions or opinions. I though this was the only site without the Drama like some of the others and that you could express yourself and get support. The reason for the question is because I am tired of it being a race thing too. It is not us making it a race thing it is the MEDIA! My question was wether it was unprofessional or was it an ethical issue. No need to try to go there if you didnt like the question or it offended you than there is no need to respond...  Per you post :Black people is the ONLY race of people who do not stick together .... your response is a prime example ! We will someday come together.

and you were only looking for responses you deemed appropriate?  Why instruct her that she should not have responded if she had a problem when your inquiry seemed open to all?

Not saying for a fact that what she meant - only she can clarify that - but that's how *I* read it. 

Her response was directed at those who do blame everything on race.  If you don't, then it wasn't directed at you.
Why so defensive and sensitive?  No one is 'trying to go there"...calm down.
