OT: Could you ever be a criminal? What would it take to get you there?

LOL!  I know you mofos are trippin like 'HUH?  Da heyl she mean by that?'

We all have our limits - things that we say we will NEVER do.  However, if push comes to shove, how much will we bend?

right now - I'm good.  Working, bills is okay, I'm comfortable.  But cut my $$ flow, kick me outta my house and take my car - sista might have to get 'creative financing' to get out of the situation.

So - could you see yourself:
1 - participating in a fake check fraud ring?
2 - ID theft?
3 - Robbing a bank?
4 - skimming off the church offerings?
5 - borrowing from friends you KNOW you ain't gonna pay back?
6 - if you had the opportunity to participate in a computer based crime that would get you millions and you were VIRTUALLY untraceable - would you?

For me - umm - I can't never say NEVER, but I will tell you that I ain't got the HEART for it.  That's why I do what I do - partial RISK mangagement for the financial side of my company - that's what cowardly thieves do - still get to figure out HOW to steal - just don't actually do it!  LMAOOO

Ionknow.  I've always kept to the right side of the law (cause I'm scared of jail)and I'm not sure if finances would make me dip to the left, but then again you never know.
However the only thing that I can tell for sure that would make me clap a nicca and end up end the big house is for my baby girl.

Don't F with the baby cub, I'm juss say'n.

I'm a finance person too and I know stealing in the 21st century is not as easy as it was in the 80's back when I was an auditor.

I would not survive in prison and there is no way I would test my mettle on this. I have been up against it twice in this new millenium and by the grace of God made it through without stealing.

ETA:
Uh o, that sounded preachy.  Its not.  What I meant to say is:
Prison scares the **** out of me so I'm scared straight not self righteous!

So on to the list.

- participating in a fake check fraud ring?
No, too easy to detect.  Scared of prison.

2 - ID theft?
Possibly.  Swift detection and tracking methods are still underdeveloped.  I may avoid prison.

3 - Robbing a bank?
Never. Most bank robbers are caught quickly.  Prison and a possible gun shot wound.

4 - skimming off the church offerings?
Possibly.  They may be forgiving and not send me to prison if I'm caught.

5 - borrowing from friends you KNOW you ain't gonna pay back?
Yes (shamefully).  I'd loose a friend but its not a criminal offense so I won't go to prison.

6 - if you had the opportunity to participate in a computer based crime that would get you millions and you were VIRTUALLY untraceable - would you?
No.  Its the virtually that scares me.  A good computer scam involves colusion and someone will have a big mouth once the audit trails start to send up red flags that something is amiss.  And you guessed it, I don't want to go to prison.

Good one!

OMG - you got me rollin!!!!!

Seems that you have an aversion to...... PRISON!!!!!

so - if an armored car dropped a bag and kept rolling on a street with no traffic cams - would it be safe to say you taking the loot and running it through small establishments to prevent tracking of the serial #s?

Nope...never ever been associated with any type of crime and I don't plan on it (although I did steal candy once or twice out the store when I was little cause my momma said she wasn't going to buy s*&t so don't ask.......but who didn't??)

I like my freedom too much to be letting something/somebody get me locked up!

I wouldn't do any of those crimes, because I am just to honest and I get riddles with guilt so easy I would probably end up turning myself in.
