I had no issues. NONE.
The only surgery I can compare it to is my c-section in 1985.
My VSG was a breeze.
My labs at 6 months were great.
My pcp was very impress.

I had the VSG almost 2 1/2yrs ago. I lost weight pretty quickly, but never reached my ultimate goal. Of course, that was my fault. I have a weakness for sweets and fried foods, which I eat more frequently than I should. I did not want to deal with malabsorption, so DS and RNY were not options for me. I've kept off over 100lbs since I was 8 months post op. Good luck with your weight loss journey
