 Phyll,

I tried to PM you, but you do not have an open profile.

Can you tell me about your experience with the VSG?  What do you eat daily? Any complications, issues, etc? How are your labs?

Thanks!

I will send you a friend's request.   Then you are welcome to read my profile and story.

I had no issues.   NONE.

The only surgery I can compare it to is my c-section in 1985.

My VSG was a breeze.

My labs at 6 months were great.

My pcp was very impress.

I had the VSG almost 2 1/2yrs ago. I lost weight pretty quickly, but never reached my ultimate goal. Of course, that was my fault. I have a weakness for sweets and fried foods, which I eat more frequently than I should. I did not want to deal with malabsorption, so DS and RNY were not options for me. I've kept off over 100lbs since I was 8 months post op.  Good luck with your weight loss journey
