So... a sista (who will remain unmentioned until the day I die) decided to buy myself....err...umm...HERself a bikini.  I know I'm still considered a big 'un, but should I care?  Do you/Would you look at a plus sized woman in a bikini and say to yourself "Self, she know she ain't pose ta be outside in that mess!"... or would you say "You go girl!"

Just curious....

you know, it took my whole adult life AND WLS for me to say **** it and wear sleeveless tops.  Meanwhile nobody's been paying me any mind and been living their life.  That said...I say do you.  Anyone who has anything negative to say would find something negative to say anteway cuz that's what negative people do.

you know what a chick in a 'kini is supposed to look like!  If you would say WHOA - then you already know!!!!

Even with my TT I ain't 'road ready!  my back rolls are NOT cleared for public viewing!

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

I say do you!!  If you are confident in your body then express it!  Now if your stomach is hanging over the front of the bikini I would have a serious problem with that.....LOL

*I* don't think its bad for a plus size woman to be in a bikin if she's solid. Just like I don't wanna see a floppy size 18 girl.....I don't wanna see a floppy size 6 either. It's the packaging more so than the size to me. I am not in bikini condition. I would wear one if I was on vacation, with the hubby, and didn't know anybody there lol. I'm actually looking for one for Miami in October.

It depends on the overall look, IMO.

I've seen big girls in bikini's looking great (no visible stretch marks, rolls, etc), especially with a sarong wrap to match.
Lacey sheer coverups are very forgiving and still allow the suit to be seen.

I've also seen some thin women in bikinis that really should have re-thought the whole idea.
Just because one can wear something, doesn't mean they should.

On the other hand, if there is too much information showing, I'd think differently....

My friends & I say if the mirror says no, and you go and do it anyway, you're on your own!

Now according to my hubby, my first name is Ano and last name is Rexic  LOL because you can now see my ribs, spine and hip bones but I'm not ready for the 2 pc. yet. I've got stretch marks from giving birth to toddlers daughter 9 lbs 2 oz and son 10 lbs !!!! and just a little flab. If you are solid and feel good, then go for it.

Do you and be happy!!!!  Why be concerned with what the next person thinks? Too much of our lives are lived according to other folks standards.  If you like it, you like it....forget the rest of them.
The question that I am asked most often:
 Is that your hair??????
