"I dont understand"
I agree with you NaNa Nae...it's not mandatory that someone update their profile, it's nice when they do but we never know what's going on in someone's life at a particular moment and it's not our business unless they want to share.
As for me, In the beginning I was all for posting everday of the week....even Pre-WLS. If you read my profile, my younger sister supported me in my journey.....she suddenly passed away on April 13, 2007 and it took a huge toll on me to the point that my updating fizzled....i just wasn't motivated to track my journey anymore. 8 months later, I went through a devastating break-up and also my step-mother passed away , which was another huge set back for me....weight loss was no longer an acheivement for me it was more like a death sentence because depression took over and the weight was coming off so fast that my life was at risk.
Do I worry about gaining the weight back? Sure I do... but I'm not obsessed with logging it because I've had so much go on within the last 2 years that focusing on being happy with "me" is all I'm concerned with these days. I'm now expecting my first child and all of my focus is on my current experience of becoming a first-time mommy and what parenthood is going to be like for me and my husband from a new parents prospective.
Things change, people change...we just have to respect that.
