WOW moment for me this morning

Hello All,  I don't usually post, but this morning I had a wow moment and needed to share with everyone.  I had RNY on 5/11/09 and was stuck at a 37 lb weight loss for almost 3 weeks.  I was visiting my mother for a week and didn't weigh myself at all and this morning I jumped on the scale and it read 227 which is 45 lbs gone.  I had to step off and step on again because I was in a complete shock.  I guess I need to visit mom more often, lol.  Also, while visiting my mom, I received so many compliments on my weight loss.  It really made me feel good and gave me motivation to work on exercising.  Just thought I would share my "wow" moment with everyone.

Congratulations!!!  Arn't you glad you stuck with it?!? 

Thank you and yes I am so glad that I hung in there.  It was rough in the beginning, but it's definitely worth it and I do not regret my decision.

Yes I am very grateful to have been blessed with a procedure that has changed my life and given me confidence.  It is truly a blessing.
