I too bought Bras this weekend! No offense to walmart and other stores, but I find that Lane Bryant has the best bras. If you are over a C cup....gotta get the best. Although their bras are a bit on the pricey side, $34 is a small price to pay when the girls are on point! No "done turkeys" "no sag" "lift and separate" "no muffin top" good stuff! And they last in the washer and dryer. 

This month's essence, with Idris Elba on the cover has a really good article on the proper bras and undergarments. My favorite statement in that article is that women need to know the difference between a "bedroom bra" and a "boardroom bra." AND THATS THE TRUTH. All the lacy, pretty, plungy stuff is cute, but dont hold them in place longer than 20 mins (in the bedroom thats the maximum time before it hits the floor anyway) but not at work. GO ESSENCE!Also states if you are a D cup or above, it is best to have an underwire. It takes some getting used to at first, but once you go there, you wont go back.

Now here is my question, what happens when I can no longer fit a lane bryant bra? I think they start at a 36, and right now, im a 38 D and i was a 46DD.....and I still have 70lbs to lose...maybe i'll check out Bali's they make the good stuff too! Well good day and happy monday!

I actually went to Lane Bryant first, from a recommendation from someone here on BAF.
For some reason, they didn't do anything for me.  For one, I didn't like the padding....I also didn't like the overflow on the top.  You know what I mean?  The poof that comes over the top of the bra....I HATE that!  No matter what size I tried, those carique (sp) bras did that on me.  But a lot of people swear by them.

I feel ya' on that Kim with the Lane Bryant bras........ways too much spillage on top, and everything's got that padding in it.  These girlz need no further assitance with projectory and fullness!!..............

LB's Balconettes!! Nuffin but the truth!

BALCONETTE TO THE FULLEST!!!! I think that the padding, like the underwire, is a personal preference. Since the weight loss, I get "cold" alot and i dont like when my turkeys are "done" and I equally get offended if I can see anyone elses nipples in their shirts too,lol. but the Balconette, girl.....I just bought a few of the new ones with the lace on the back, separate cups, lace in the middle! FLYY ****!

I heard that LB undies are related to Victoria Secret.  I've worn both and the quality is comparable.

hi Kim I am glad you found some items for the tatas and yall are happy.  I was also going to report I went to Macy's and got fitted for bras.  Got two and I can relate to 44DDD and 46DDD no change in cup. These are Bali's also feels so nice.
