Father digs his son's grave

This actually brings back to my mind being a young boy living on my Granddaddy's farm in the country down in Tennessee...when my Granddaddy would have us boys dig graves to help families...that were actually poorer than we were...with burial expenses as they mourned...

Very very sad...


I couldn't imagine ever digging a grave for any of my love ones...

The government should automatically pay for burials for ANY unfortunate family...

Honestly, I only have one fear and that is having to have to bury my child.  I can't even concieve that.  wow. 

...from my prospective Rhonda..."maybe"...some kind of government involvement would be appropriate...but again...from my prospective...family, friends, churches, community, businesses...should take the lead in something like this.  it would have such a bonding effect on neighborhoods and communities..................and mindsets.

That is about the saddest story I have heard...

I am praying for the family. Do you know if there is a fund or anything? The article didn't have any information about an ongoing fund.

Its hard to bury a child, we always think of the old saying  a parent is not supposed to burying their child. I wish this was always so not.  We bury a child and had to help bury a niece that had no insurance she was a member of the Church of Christ. Had three kids and pass away the members of that church pick up the rest of the tab. There was 2 churches one out of LA, the of out of Texas it was great to see that a church could have come and done such a great thing as picking up the tab her mother couldn't afford.  Needless to say her sorry daddy didn't even try people like him make it so hard for other to want to help  people that really can't afford.  Since then he has fell on hard time I bet he never thought that he would. HUH
