Question for the parents
I'm doing drugs...FA SHO!
I have allergic reactions to various pain meds so "which" drugs they're going to give me is a "big deal" right now....so I dunno how it's going to work out I just know I better get something when the time comes...even if they have to counter-act it with other drugs!

don't know if you have cable - but if you do and have comcast - check out either SHO or HBO special "The Business of Being Born" it's a documentary on childbirth......

When mine was born I had such love for her; yet, she was a total stranger. I had to get to know her as a person and not just 'my baby', if that makes any sense to anyone but me.

When I first saw that cute little round head it was a wrap 
.........pricless moment......you never forget that min where get your first peep at your baby........I have two babies...baby #1 (girl ) is 21 .....and baby #2 is 16 (boy) ....... check this out my daughter was born on a tues and my son on a wendsday........she was 6lbs 8oz......he was 8lbs 60z .....she was born at 1:13 am and he was born at 2:17am.....she was born up north and he was born down south

It was all kind of surreal to me.
You sit and there and wonder what they will be like when they finally come into the world...yes I cried when I first saw her. And I couldn't stop shaking either (found out later that is very common after giving birth). I looked at her and couldn't believe I had helped this little person be born. Then I was like wow...they're really gonna let me take her home?! Are they sure?! LOL Now she is a precocious 3 year old...she drives me batty...but I also wonder how I got through all the years without her in my life. There are days I wanna drop kick but she is far BY FAR the best thing I've EVER had a hand in making!!!
