I set all my utilities on a budget plan. Erry month Pepco is $188 and Gas is $107. Consistency is the name of the game. That way they don't drive me crazy going up and down all year long.

I got the $$ - that's not my pro'lem.... LOL It's just too DANG HOT for all this here!!!!!

My kind and considerate power company offered me a level billing plan. The only problem was they wanted $10 more a month than my highest bill of the year.
No accounting for the three months of the year when my bill is just a third of that; or, the six months when it is just half. I'll have to hide the difference between the level payment and my lower winter bills in my matteress so I can pay for the summer. No interest free financing from me to the power company.

It's supposed to be an average bill with the last bill of the cyle either higher or lower to make up the difference.
But who knows - they might be getting me as well. I just need to stay on a clear budget month to month. I could be paying a few extra dollars for my own convienance.

I feel you MM on that I got a bill last month that made me say WTF!!!! 
I called and found out that for the months of May and April they estimated the bill. They were to dam* lazy to open up the gate to read the meter in the back yard. I was pissed to the highest of Pisstivity. So I got a bill for April, May, and June sitting at my house. I guess i'll have to put it on LAYAWAY. 
Cause it's to hot to be hot.

When it comes to utilities, I am cheap, cheap, cheap. It was so hot in our house that people thought we were cookin bacon. Naw just us sweatin like pigs. My husband finally put his foot down and turned the air on. In the winter I try to keep it cold enough in the house to kill those pigs I roast in the summer. Nah just an exaggeration but I do hold out on the air till I can't take it. Our rates are so high its pathetic. As for the heat the house in the winter, all I can say it layer it.

I guess I get the light bill tomorrow last year this time I had a 600.00 bill I really cry. The next month high so what ever come i'LL have to brace for it. And I was reading the meter it just the rates or so da** high. HB love to have it so cold doing the summer that I sleep with a electric blanket and doing the winter I sleep on top of the blankets. That my HB he work out side in the heat(rubber refinery) or the extreme cold.

oH yesterday I made a pack no light until after dark. Then after that I have to cut lights on and off as I pass thru the room(room house with 2 people shoot was fine with the girls) Time to throw it up and run.
