I am a little confused on what you are looking for.
Someone to talk to? Are you looking for someone to talk to on the phone, in pm. There are a lot of folks here who will more than happy to assist you with any question that you may have.
As far as an angel, you just have to ask on the board, but you might to be more specific, are you looking for someone who had the same surgery as you did, someone who lives close to your or at least in the state. What are your requirement of that angel? Your inquiry is so opened ended.

An angel normally is the person who let the board know that everything went well after the surgery and give you one on one advice.
I can tell you what my angel does.
She keep her foot on my throat. I love her to death and even though she tried to cut the strings after i was a year post op, I refuse to let her. She keep it real for me. She dont say awww, you po thing,you fell off the wagon, you can start over. She say HOW THE HELL DID YOU GAIN XX NUMBER OF POUNDS WITHOUT KNOWING IT...NO POSSIBLE WAY....THAT IS IF YOU ARE WEIGHING LIKE YOU SHOULD...YOU NOT DRINKING WATER??? OH HELL NAW
A buddy could be someone who after being on board, you connect with someone more than you do others and you two or three or four, just end up meeting off the board and becoming buddies.
I have a few BAF buddies and I wont trade them for the world, but they are the type that really get me even know from my text when I am serious or joking without me putting a laughing face up.
Bottom-line, IMO it takes time to get a true BAF buddy. I hope I helped a little.

Just ask the way you did and you may find a willing soul. The right buddy depends on what you're looking for and what they are willing to provide as suport.
