Cookie, I am a glutton for punishment.  I have this my girl friend who is a Sergeant Major in the Army.  She is crazy when it come to exercise.  Way more crazier than I will ever be.  She competes in body building.

I was talking to my sister about the challenge, and I mention that it would be nice if I had a pacer for the run because a pacer would push me to run faster than I would make myself and she said call Bonnie because she like that type of stuff

I call her and she said. TOMORROW??YOU KNOW THAT MILITARY FOLKS NEED TO MAKE PLANS, WHY AM I JUST HEARING ABOUT THIS THE DAY BEFORE?????

feeling like a private in the Army, I said, I knoww, Connie told me to ask you, I told her I would, when she ask you, just tell her I asked and that will be that.

Command Sergeant "YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED ME YOUR DAMN SELF, WHY SHE HAD TO TELL YOU TO ASK ME.

Me (on the defensive):  Damn Bonnie, you are right but I am not one of your privates you are talking to. I understand it is last minute.  No harm done. I got this.

Command Sergeant:  oh no, I got you on this..what time and I dont want to hear no whining tomorrow.

Girl I know you got this, you eat, drink and sleep for this type of program. You betta come back with a gold medal or I'll have to go off and that's not pretty.   I was a Drill Sergeant in a former life and a basketball coach in this life and we don't put up with quitters, you hear me? Now go get it done and I'll be praying for you.

Can we compromise, I will try for the gold, but if I get a silver, be happy for me....that is hard work, I dont care how I try to play it down.
