Kendra's post on facebook.....she was posted about the exspensive fees that was quoated to her about daycare cost and the price that was quoted shocked Kendra and I was shocked also.....it was in the ball park of $500 and change for one week 
So my question is .......Is that the going rate these days for child care ???
I am so happy my mom was my babysitter back in the day.

I wish somebody WOULD expect 500 a week......
My babygirl is 9 - I have her transported to and from school, then afterschool care, that's $93 a week, during the summer when she's there all day 5 days a week, it's $132 a week.
I did pay $800 a month for preschool for her when she was 5 tho......

Everything in Southern CT is expensive and even we don't pay that much on average, although facilities near corporate centers are close. This is what the YMCA where my daughter grew up charges. Rates are higher for infants.
