OT - Educate a confirmed sinner... Please.
In my humble opinion, prayer is the focus of our God centered energy. It doesn't matter what we choose to call it or what our spiritual affiliations are. God has manifested to all peoples, and works through all peoples, and hears our prayers. Prayer is exponential like a quantum equation. We expand our prayer by asking others to pray with us and for us. It is a powerful force with the energy to create miracles.
That's as close as I get to giving a sermon.

I get that if GOD is Universal Consciousness>>>but Counsciousness denotes that there must be an AWARENESS...of what is needed or being Prayed for. If I need a healing in My Body, and a specific healing, then I don't see where just asking for healing will get it. It's like the old spray paint theory of painting...open the nozzel wide enough and it's bound to hit something (then that's Chance/Luck, NOT Prayer).

Hey Aaron,
For me, prayer is an ongoing conversation with God. I speak to Him about EVERYTHING, friends, family, money, what I should do and how I should do it. I pray for others, the world, the lost and for myself. God has to be in the center of everything we do. I bathe everything in prayer and then believe without failure that He is able to do the rest. Much of my prayers are prayers of praise. I praise God for his goodness, kindness, mercy and forgiveness. I tell Him how thankful and grateful I am for my salvation. I thank Jesus for dying to save me and for bathing me in his blood that protects me. I thank the Holy Spirit for being my guide and comforter and leading my life into the destiny God has planned for me. I thank Him for using me to glorify Him and I pray that everything I do and say, is a reflection of Jesus. There will never be enough adjectives to describe how good He is or how much I love Him.
