My job has made an offer to me that has a pay increase but theres a catch. i have to relocate.
the Chicago region has laid off 35 drivers luckily i was picked to come to the East coast to help out. only 4 drivers were picked, while here we were introduced to the GM of Coach USA/MEGA BUS . So I know when i get back home i will not have a job, so my decision was very easy to make. i'm considering landover, MD. it down the street from the job. any suggestions? and also I am a musician I play Keyboards do any one know of any bands thatmay need a good reliable keyboardist. or do you know any clubs that may have live entertainment (bands) in the dc baltimore areas. also do you guys know of any karate schools that practice ishin ryu, shorin ryu, shorei ryu, or shorei goju it would be greatly appreciated. and a gym to work out.

I will be relocating near the end of July.

Well since you are not to far from Pennsylvania come on up... We have bars here and a casino which host live entertainment every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. You maybe able to meet up with a band in this area. It's about an hour drive but it may become prudent to do so if you get bored in maryland.

I'm so happy that you were able to keep a job in this bad economy.

Are you sure you want to do that?? That mean you will be up close and personal and I dont have to harrass you from a distance.

There is a great place to work out in DC...It is call Hains Point....Can I expect to see you there?

Those others question you had, I will leave for others to answers, the only part that I know about is the work out part.

All jokes aside, welcome to the DMV

Glad you had an option other than the dreaded  " pink slip "  Garland.

Good luck with your move and getting settled in and things.

Sending up prayers for you  !

In life,  and especially on this journey there are sure to be days when you falter and give in.......just remember to never give up.

Welcome to the DMV Garland!

Landover may be OK for a short while until you get familiar with the area but be careful.  I wouldn't make any long term commitments to stay there for long.  If work is near the beltway, I would consider Bowie, Mitchellville or Upper Marlboro. Those areas would probably be easy to commute from and a little more peaceful.

PG Sports and Learning complex is a good gym in the Landover area.  It's right next to FedEx Field and they offer discount memberships to PG County residents.  I love their aqua aerobics classes. It's a huge complex with lots of fun activities and the facilities are well maintained.

Good Luck!
