Please Pray For the Families Affected by the Burr Oak Cemetery Scandal
My mom is in Burr Oak. :(
She died when I was 8 years old right in front of me.
Even though I know my mom is with the Lord, knowing that those memories have been stirred up by someone's greed....wow.
We will not know for SEVERAL weeks if she was one of those disturbed. Forensic teams have to sift through remains like it was 911 all over again, hiring special archeologists to review all of the bones left in piles.
Greed is an ugly thing.

BAF....This wrong cant EVER be right. THEY CANT CORRECT THIS. I have been to Burr Oak and when I say it is a sad scene...trust me. I have seen grown men fall to there knees in tears. Pray for all involved. The families, the offender, and the defender...we all are going to need it. RIPand final resting place has a whole different meaning right now.
As far as the 4 tokens that they are plastering on the TV. This is all they way to the top. You cant tell me any different. They should still be held accountable because they should have stop while they were still doing the right thing and they didn't. However, I dont think it stops or started with those 4.

Hey Tricie...let me take it a step further...
One of my old friends, who now resides in Canada with her husband...the photo for the article in today's Chicago Tribune is a photo of a few discarded headstones, garbage, etc. How about this - the bigger headstone is my friends and her hubby's headstone!!! No, they are not deceased, but it lets us know that their grave has been used FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S BURIAL! Their headstone is in a heap of GARBAGE!
Fortunately, one of our other friends called them and left a voice message to call him right away - he didn't want to leave this information on their phone mail...but still...can you imagine?
Right now, I cannot bring myself to go there, let alone pass the cemetery...especially now that the ENTIRE cemetery has been ruled a crime scene...the ENTIRE cemetery where our loved ones have been laid to rest.

It is such an emotional scene...they had police from 3 surrounding town directing traffice all the way to 294. Busing people in and out of the cemetery. lines of peple waiting for helpless information. My grandmother is not there and they dont know where she is. My mother is an emotional wreck right now. GIRL this is some messed up stuff... It tears me up on the inside.....this is some real ****** **** How can anybody sleep at night knowing that you are willingly participating in this kid of stuff....it is unreal...
Also, I'm sorry.... but from the picture of those 4 tokens....they really could have used some of the money on self improvement. Also, i know im not rich, but I know that a couple of hundred thousand aint alot of money and it certainly aint enough for me to participate in something like that...there isnt enough....WTF!!!
