Would you have been offended by this?

I went out last night (seriously paying for it today too) and there was a lady who was walking around and mingling throughout the bar.  I thought she was probably a regular and just knew a lot of people until she came to me and I saw she was passing out her business cards.  She's a Body Magic distributor...you know, the ones who advertise 'lose up to 3 sizes in 10 minutes'.

She gave me a card and started with her pitch.  I took the card and thanked her. After she left, I showed the card to the friend I was with and he got pissed!  Said I should have told her my man likes the way I look.  He then wanted to go up to her and tell her he was offended for me!

I laughed and told him I wasn't in the least bit offended.  Why should I be? 

Would this offend you?  I really don't see any harm in what she did.  To be honest, I had been looking for some good support stuff anyway....but even if I hadn't, this would not have bothered me.

No, I wouldnt have been offended.  If I was her, I would give my card to anybody who listen even skinny folks because who know, maybe that skinny person have at least one fat friend that they will pass the card to.

I would think most who would be offended is still dealing with self denial.

Hi Kim...............I didn't seem offensive, unless she just singled you out only.  It doesn't sound like the owner cared that someone was pimping there business in their establishment either.  Sounds like your friend was just being protective and chivalrous!  Awww............Ain't that sweet!

I'm just offended that it seems that every body and they momma in every state  is selling BODY MAGIC....If I get one more message on Facebook about them I will scream!!!



Seriously I wouldn't be offended it is what it is, I look good with the lights on and even better when they go OUT!!!
