p.s. totally disagree with the impossibility of looking exclusively white if you're biracial.  mariah carey's mother on oprah few years back they showed pics of her at 8, 10 years old, no trace of her father.

I totally agree. This little blonde haired boy is my nephew. Mother is black father is white. I wish I could find a more recent pic because he looks white as white can be with blonde hair that doesn't look like it has a drop of black in it.

Well, before all this "Bi Racial" stuff came up we used to just call errybody Black (that was when Black women were having babies by white men and the State was not going to ENFORCE Paternity for legal and/or financial reasons). In fact back in the day, folks used to "pass" (for white or Jewish) and both parents were Black., cause "WE" knew that a child might take "way back in the family"...Ya mean

QUIZ for Today: Does anyone know how many degrees of separation one has to be from white ancestry to be considered just "Black"...Does Bi Racial only allude to the first degree (mother and father) or does it also mean if one has any other Ethnic DNA? What if a Man( with a white mother and Black dad,) marries a Black woman (both parents Black) and they have children...what is the Ethnicity of his children (2 Daughters)? What if one daughter marries a Black man and the other daughter marries a white man; what's the Ethnicity of the above mentioned Man's grand children.

Hi Value,
I've always been under the impression that if a person has just "one drop" of blood from a black person then the person is considered black. It is to my understanding that this law is still prevalent.

Monique H. that look like some of my family and so does Michael's kids. I'm talking siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents and even my momma's skin color. But I'll just throw the church fanga up and tip on out because that is normal for my family. lol

Mine too Killa,
my maternal grandmother was considered black but her father was 100% white and her mother was 50/50. With the exception of 1 other sibling, each of her siblings went right on into the white race and lived happily ever after. My grandmother married my grandfather who was mostly cherokee indian but darker. 2 of my uncles looked like Monique's nephew and my mother and her other 2 brothers were darker, yet one of my uncles have 2 sons with blond hair and green eyes and look just like him.

I also meant to say that my oldest uncle who is deceased passed for white throughout his life. My grandmother used to tell on him whenever she found out that he was doing it, you should've seen the looks on all of those white peoples faces when my mother and 2 other brothers marched into that funeral home after he died.

Yeah that kind of runs in my family too. His mother was the same way, but she did get some color to her after a while. Then my daughter had a baby and I was so hurt that she lied to me about the father of her baby or at least I thought. You couldn't tell me that this wasn't a white boys baby.

Here he is now though.

Girl, my own son was that color with big blue eyes and a head full of stick staight hair. His eyes then changed to grey and now they are hazel and his hair started curling at 8 months. He's never been to a barbershop, his father cuts his hair. He can add a little water and grease and have a curl. The people at the hospital kept asking my hubby which child was his.

Man,

If you think THAT was unpopular,,,, read on.

Michael Jackson is dead, and it ****** me off when folks die, and then get talked about negatively.

I do have a question though-- why do Black folks band together for brothas like OJ, and Michael Jackson--like they were some idols or something? I understand Michael was, but OJ?

I aint see Michael Jackson WITH another black person for the last 10 years of his life!!!!!  Did yall? Now, they covered him respectfully(as I think they should have) on BET,,, but everytime I remember seeing Mike he was with some cracka kid somewhere,,, crying and shyt.

I hate he dead,, but keep it real people. Michael was a no -show since 1990.

But shyt,, Im gonna miss Steve McNair WAAAAAAAAAAAY more than MIchael.

And for those of you that this ****** off---- tuff ****

dont trip.

the Que, is owt.

First, know that I am agreeing with YOU...Phil and I discussed this...both of us coming from homes where color was NEVER an option...it was a rainbow....who cares...also, who cares if Blacks adopts white, or any other color child and vice versa....if a child is in need, feed it....a child is a child and we are all created in the image of God.

My point....I really don't feel his sperm was used....nor do I care....but to me, if you LIE about something that important....OH MY!

And if he has signed the birth certificates as the child's father....his will should stand in court that all 3 children be raised by his  mom and ICO death to her, Diana Ross.

I hope they honor his wishes.....it would be sad if they remove the children from the only family they have ever known....

Those kids will be loved unconditionally in the Jackson family!
