OT - A message for Da Brothas

on the real...this is good info Bruh!  now if someone could just tell me how  to get a close shave without the bump nation emerging the next morning!!  I wish i could run a straight razor across my face without looking like Quasimoto!

Bruh, ya gotta go with either an Andis T-Edge trimmer (electric) or a four-headed rotary shaver (electric).  A black man should NEVER use any kind of razors on his face whatsoever.  Those close shaves feel good at first, but they just make the hairs grow right back into the skin causing bumps.

Hey you...My guy has always used Magic shaving powder...(old school) on his face - he never uses a razor..his skin is very smooth...at 53 years old.

And everytime he uses it too your whole house will be left smelling like somebody dragged a dead moose through it.

My uncles and brother used to use that stuff and I swear it smelled like the dayum sewer exploded every morning.  We could never get used to that smell.

Well...smell or no smell...the smell goes away...those butt ugly ass bumps don't! I'd rather deal with that than deal with the nastiness of looking at craters on a man's face or the back of his head...ya dig???   Besides, as long as HE doesn't smell like that (and he does not - EVER!)...then a sistah is good...yup!

yeah i know D, i have the Andis shaver but it really doesn't get that close smooth shave  there's always stubble left over.. and here's the head crack, you ever notice how the older cats in their 60's and older still use a straight razor and they never bump up? i wonder if it's because they conditioned their skin over the years to tolerate the burn?

Hell yeah.  Those cats must have skin made out of deer skin or something.  And dig, they sharpen their straight razors on a leather strap!!!  Man, you can't even get a damn kitchen knife as a sharp as they have their razors using that strap.

How they do that?
