OMG...she just had the nerve to call my name for some unknown reason.
Before she could even say what she wanted, I turned and politely said....Imma need for you NOT to talk to me, because I'm 2 seconds from saying something you will not want to hear!

Needless to say, she shut the heck up!

Dayum...landing that punch in her throat is sounding really good right now!  SMH

Whenever she calls your name, turn around slowly then look her in the eye and yawn.

...,  You did the right thing in your reaction and response.  Anything more vocal or confrontational would have given her your power!  Your calm and coolness let's you retain the power to control the situation.  You know you have every right to yawn if you feel like it!

Always choose being kind over being right!

You did good....too darn good if you ask me because you need your job but there is always a way to let a person have it without really letting them have it verbally.

Tell you how I cure my nosey person in the office who for some reason thought it was her right to read what ever I left on my desk and talk about it like she heard it from "the horse's mouth"

I wrote a letter to my sister, telling her all about how this nosey person got on my last darn nerves.   I told my sister everything that that nosey biddy did to get on my nerves. I told my sister everthing that I wanted to tell the nosey lady, but I too need my job.  I was not nice in my letter, but then again it was too my sister so I didnt have to.  I addressed an envelope to my sister and put it , but then I had the sudden urge to go to the bathroom before I could seal the envelop.   When I came back after making sure I was gone long enough, I knew without a doubt that she had read it because..

1.  Her face was beet red and

2.  She could not look me in the face

believe me when I tell you after that she stop being nosey and she stayed out of folks business.

I am saying this to say.....there is always a way to solve a problem.

And about her seeing what is on your computer...go to Staple or a computer store and invest in you a privacy screen..I have one on my computer and unless you are right in front of the computer, you can not see what is on the screen and it does not cost much but is worth the peace of mind that you will have knowing that even though she may try to read the screen, she cant.

Good for you for holding your tongue! Pick and choose your battles.

It's a shame how you have good intentions yet someone ALWAYS comes along to make you, as the previous post said, 'wanna punch them in the throat!'

Blame it on the devil. he sure knows how to push your buttons and make a sister have to stay on her knees praying for forgiveness!

Hang in there!

Good for you, Kim.  You are more professional that she ever will be.  Know that you are a class act.
